- Part of the Smthsonian
Education set of sites. This site contains information about
Smithsonian exhibitions along with pages about such things as space
exploration, bugs, anatomy, and more. It has online, interactive
challenges to help you learn about science.
- NASA Educational Media Archives
- Videos on Science, Technology, Mathematics, from NASA

- The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration
site. Interesting things for kids and adults alike. From here, kids
can play games and reach other cool space sites. Students can select
resources organized by grade level, and educators can find resources
also ogranized by grade level.
- SHPS Computer Lab Internet Information
The
computer lab section contains information about the Internet aimed
at K-8 students. It discussed the basics, safety and other issues
related kid's use of the Internet.
- Inner Learning Online
- Information about the human body. Each topic has
animations, 100’s of graphics, and thousands of descriptive links.
- Cool Science for Curious Kids
- The Howard Hughes Medical Institute
invites curious kids to explore biology...on screen, off screen,
and in between.
- Scirus
- Scirus is the most comprehensive science-specific
search engine on the Internet. Driven by the latest search engine
technology, Scirus searches over 167 million science-specific Web
pages. Many of the references may be complex for grade schoolers,
but it does present only relevant scientific references without
all the other stuff generated by generalized search engines.
- Explorit Science Museum (Davis)
- The website of this local science museum.
Explorit is an innovative center for hands-on exploration and engages
children and adults throughout the greater Sacramento area in science
discovery.
- Planets
- A page with links to sites about the Solar System.
- Biomes
- Links to web resources about the world's biomes.
- Dinosaurs
- Our own set of links to pages about these fascinating creatures.
- Health
- A page with links about health.
- Extreme Science
- The place online to find the biggest, baddest, and the best in the world of extremes and learn about the science behind what makes each the most extreme example of its kind. Here you'll find world records in natural science, including earth science and the plant and animal kingdom. Not only will you find out who holds the records, but also key science concepts used to explain the story behind the record.
- American Museum of Natural History "ology"
- OLogy means "the study of." And here on the American Museum of Natural History's OLogy Web site, you can study and explore many cool OLogies.

- Sizes of Things
- What's big? What's small? This work deals with the size of things in the universe. I wrote this to help people realize both the hugeness and the smallness of our universe. This work compares lengths and disances from the effective diameter of a proton to the span of our universe. I have tried to pick objects most familiar to people while still keeping the difference in their length between 5 and 40 times the next one.
