The Extension program strives:
Services The Extension Program offers extended care before school and after school for all regularly enrolled students. Extension services operate only on days when school is in session. The Extension Program provides supervised games and recreational activities, crafts, snack time, computer enrichment, as well as time set aside for homework completion. Extension services are not available when the school is closed or
after school on days immediately prior to the following school vacations:
Easter, Christmas, Summer. Complete registration information is available in our school office. Program Procedures Morning Extension services begin at 7:00 a.m. and are concluded at 8:00 a.m. Afternoon Extension services begin immediately after school dismissal for the day. On regular school days the Extended Care Program is open from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. On minimum school days the Extension Program is open from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Since the cafeteria is closed for lunch on minimum school days, a bag lunch is required for all afternoon extension students. After school Extension services are not available on days immediately prior to the following school vacations: Easter, Christmas, Summer. Full-time Extension Kindergarten students, who attend the school’s PM Session of Kindergarten, may utilize Extension services from 7:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. when they are escorted to the cafeteria for lunch. These Kindergarten students must bring or buy their own lunch. After School, these PM Kindergarten students will be escorted to the Extension Center. Full-time Extension Kindergarten students, who attend
the school’s
AM Session of Kindergarten, may utilize Extension services
from 7:00
a.m. to 8:00 a.m. when they are escorted to line–up with their
class for the school day. After the AM Session of Kindergarten, these
students
will be escorted to the cafeteria for lunch. These Kindergarten students
must bring or buy their own lunch.
