Sacred Heart Parish School provides our families with high quality
K-8 education infused with Gospel values. Solid evidence of this is
that over the summer, 2003, we were awarded the highest rating of accreditation
by both the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and
the
Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA).
With nine major commendations for SHPS, this accreditation recognizes
and affirms:
| 1st... |
that professional standards of curriculum, instruction, care,
and faith formation for students are being maintained and advanced
at our parish school |
| 2nd... |
that our parish school has clearly defined and appropriate Catholic
educational goals/objectives that are being substantially achieved |
| 3rd... |
and that our parish school is a high quality Catholic educational
enterprise with the fiscal, human, and physical resources to continue
its services for many years. |
The accreditation shows that SHPS maintains the highest standards
of instruction, care and faith formation. Our students achieve much
with that firm base.

We work hard to keep the cost of an education at SHPS at
a reasonable rate. This is accomplished through Fundraisers and the
work of the SHPS Foundation. Please see
the
registration
policies document for current information. You can
find a summary of tuition costs here.
Tuition assistance programs are also available. Please see the registration
policies document for current information.

the following services:
- Cafeteria Food Service
- A full-service cafeteria which serves hot lunches and snacks
- Extension Program
- Providing day care before and after school
- Counseling
