Hello & Welcome!
It’s one of scripture’s most precious moments.
On His last trip to Jerusalem, Jesus stops in a small Galilean
village to teach. There, our Lord is soon surrounded by folks
who bring their children to Him. To feel His touch. Jesus embraces
each child; blessing them within welcoming arms and calling upon
all those who’ll listen...
“Let the children come to me.”
For almost seventy years, our parish school has answered that
call to bring children into our Lord’s presence. By infusing
Gospel values into a high quality curriculum we
help our students to encounter the parables, miracles, and the
life of Jesus. Such encounters inspire all of us who learn, teach
or belong within our ministry to become a Community of Learners & Believers.
As a community of learners, together we educate each child to BE
GREAT with a pure
heart, a faithful
soul, a wise
mind, with physical
strength. As a community of believers, we grow together
in our Christian faith to BE GREAT with a love for God and
as good neighbors.
These are the wonders of the excellent Catholic education provided
here at Sacred Heart.
We’re a wonderful place, blessed with wonderful children.
And, thanks to our entire parish school community -- our ministry
is strong, dynamic, and growing.

| We believe that
parents are the primary educators of their children. We support
parents in this role by creating a Catholic educational environment
that blends learning and believing in the context of community.
Together with parents we create a safe, disciplined atmosphere
of understanding and acceptance where students are encouraged to
grow and are guided in all aspects of their lives. |
Involvement in your child's development is essential to their success.
There are many ways that parents can be involved in the Sacred Heart community
of learners and believers. We encourage you to explore
these avenues and
become an active part of our faith community.
The purpose of the Parent Teacher Guild is to unite parents/guardians together
to support the spiritual and educational values of Sacred Heart Parish
School. The main responsibility of the Parent Teacher Guild is to assist the
Principal in sponsoring activities that further develop our Catholic
school as a Community of Learners and Believers.
There are many ways that you can become involved through the Parent's
Club's many activities and fund raisers. If you have questions, contact
any of the officers.
Family service at Sacred Heart Parish School is vital to the quality
of education your child(ren) receives! Family service not only builds-up
our “Community of Learners & Believers,” such support also helps
to provide special events, to keep our Catholic school operating costs
to a minimum, and to secure the profitability of our family fundraising
efforts. All families of Sacred Heart Parish School are asked to
contribute thirty-four Family Service Hours, as well as, six hours in
Support of our Fall Festival and Holiday
Home Tour… for a MINIMUM OF FORTY (40) HOURS.
