Library Hours

The library is open MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, and FRIDAY during school hours.

The library is CLOSED on TUESDAY & THURSDAY. Please respect the MERC students and DO NOT go into the library those days!

 Welcome to the Library!

News from the library:

This year, the sixth grade girls have created a book club. They will meet every other Monday in the library at lunch recess. Here we will choose books to read together, and also discuss books we are reading on our own.  I hope they will help eachother foster a life long love of reading, and also expand their book selections.

A new Magic Tree House book club will also be created for the First and Second Graders. Every time they finish a Magic Tree House Book, they will get to put their name and the book title on a small tree house to hang on the newly created tree in the library. Hopefully by years end, we will have many many treehouses! We may also do some Magic Tree House related activities in library lessons.

Finally, get out your scissors,  Box Tops are back! We will be running various contests throughout the year, so start saving them now!

Volunteers Needed!

Are you looking to fulfill a few Family Service Hours? I would love to have some help in the library, a few hours a week, any day I'm open, Monday Wednesday, or Friday. You would be involved in reshelving, organizing, weeding out, and various small projects. If you are interested please contact me at librarian@sacheart.org, or just feel free to show up.
