Sign Up For a Shift

Because the Holiday Home Tour is our most successful fund raising event we are requesting that each family contribute a mandatory 6 hours to the Home Tour, with 3 of those hours as a host/hostess in a home.

Ivy House pre-ticket sales is the day/week after Thanksgiving; the ticket sales are OUTSIDE;
Cafe cleanup counts for double hours!

Instructions

Click on the link at the bottom of the page. The form will open in a separate window. To return to this page, pleae close the window.

We clean out all user information each Holiday Home Tour season. If this is your first time on the sign up form this season, you will have to re-register. This assures that your information is current. Please fill out the form completely and click the register button. This is the information of the person selecting the shift(s), not necessarily the information for the person working the shift. Your user name can be anything you wish as long as someone else has not used it. We suggest that you use the initial of the first name of your youngest SHPS student along with your last name or your full name. Your password should be something you can remember as you will have to enter your user name and password to view or change your shift selections.

To choose a shift:

  1. Select a family name
    Family names are entered as they appear in the SHPS family directory.
    If you do not wish to assign hours to a family, select "_NO FAMILY: General Volunteer" at the bottom of the list.
    Note that this form displays only shifts selected by this user name. If you wish to view all the shifts for a family, click on the show button.
  2. Enter information for person working the shift.
    Enter the first and last name of the person working the shift along with their contact phone number. You can optionally add an e-mail address. This will help us contact you prior to your shift.
    This name and contact information is important as it will be used by the head hostesses to remind workers of their shifts.
  3. Select the shift you wish and click the choose button.
    The shift will be selected and placed in the Selected Shifts section. You are required to work at least three hours in a home. The system will not let you select another location until you have selected a shift in a home. Note, once a shift has been completely filled, it will not appear on the form. If you don't see the shift you wish, that is the reason. Please select another shift. Shifts are assigned on a first-come basis.

To remove a shift, click the remove button next to the shift in the Selected Shifts section.

If you have already registered this Holilday Home Tour season, simply enter your user name and password and click the sign-in button to view or change your shifts. You can choose additional shifts and/or remove existing shifts to adjust your schedule.

Shifts are locked shortly before the Home Tour dates to allow the head hostesses to finalize their schedules. After this time, you can not remove a shift from your selection. If you need to alter a schedule after that time, please contact the appropriate hostess.
