2010 Decathlon Team

What a fantastic finish to months of hard work and preparation for this exciting day. Our team placed 5th overall
out of 24 schools. Great job to all of our Decathletes.

Special congratulations to Duncan Breedlove for second place in Literature and Rachel Warne for second place
in Fine Arts/Music.

This great outcome couldn’t have been accomplished without the very diligent hard work by some of our teachers and past/present parents. First, a huge thank you to Mrs. Terlecky who coordinates our Academic Decathlon team. Mrs. Terlecky has dedicated many, many, hours to the team and we thank you very much!! Thanks must also go to our Logic Coaches - Allison Bauer and Tom Flynn. Super Quiz Coaches - Theresa Sparks, Madeline Breedlove, Maura Pedroncelli, Karen Thalhammer, Debbie Warne, and Gabby Neubuerger. Individual Subject Coaches - Larry Reel, Laurie McKnight, Mary Scheyer, Rick Alfaro, Bob Breedlove, Madeline Breedlove, Stephanie Dovichi, Karen Thalhammer and Maura Pedroncelli. Teambuilding Coaches - Gabby Neubuerger and Daune Kirrene. Also special thanks to Amy Alfaro, Martha Gates and Kristin Stone for hosting teambuilding events. Our Proctors on Saturday - Martha Gates, Allison Bauer, Mathew Mathai, Ann Tracy, Larry Reel and Maura Pedroncelli. Madeline Breedlove for organizing all the food for Saturday. Gabby Neubuerger for ordering the team sweatshirts and banner. And most of all, thanks to all our decathletes for all their hard work. We’re so proud of all of you.
